Bell Let’s Talk

In honor of Bell Let’s Talk day around the world and mental health awareness, I wanted to make a post mentioning the importance of this issue. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health and this should be recognized by everyone. You need to take care of yourself first before anything or anyone else. You are important and your health should be your first priority in your life. Take time this year to focus on this in your life. I’ve created a list of things below that I am going to try to do in 2017 to stay happy, take care of myself, help me stay relaxed, as well as grow as a person.

1. Spend more quality time with your family

2. Say yes to new opportunities

3. Explore the place that you live

4. Dance as much as possible

5. Master a new recipe

6. Make a new friend

7. Get out of your comfort zone at least once a week

8. Do something for yourself every day

9. Read a motivational book

10. Take more baths and use a bath bomb

11. Binge watch your favourite show

12. Eat more of your favourite food

13. Make lists and cross things off

14. Go on Pinterest more and feel inspired

15. Get all dolled up and go out with your girlfriends

16. Buy one thing a month that makes you happy, save the rest

17. Watch the sunset or the sunrise as much as possible and soak it all in

18. Listen to your favourite song on repeat

19. Tell the ones you love that you love them more often

20. Accept what you cannot change in your life and breathe

21. Talk about it and do not feel ashamed
